This advanced charging station offers an impressive charging power of up to 22kW, which can be manually adjusted between 2.3kW and 22kW to provide flexible charging speeds depending on your needs.
The charging status is managed and monitored conveniently via an app that gives users full control and overview of the charging process. Additionally, the charging station offers a security feature that allows it to be locked and unlocked via the app or RFID cards to prevent unauthorized access.
For efficient use of energy, the station has intelligent charging modes that enable charging at cost-effective and sustainable off-peak times. These functions help to reduce the load on the power grid while reducing costs for the end user. In addition, the charging station is equipped with an integrated energy meter that allows the user to precisely measure electricity consumption. This provides a clear overview of energy consumption and supports conscious energy management.

You can use NeoGrid® AI with all of our electricity tariffs. However, with our fixed-price tariff SimplyFair, you only benefit from the additional earnings of up to €300.
With our dynamic tariff, you also benefit from cost savings by only charging during the cheaper hours. This way, you can save up to 50% of your electricity costs with NeoGrid® AI.
Nutzt NeoGrid® AI bidirektionales Laden bzw. Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G)?
Beim bidirektionalen Laden bzw. V2G wird Strom aus deinem E-Auto wieder ins Netz eingespeist.
NeoGrid® AI macht das nicht: Statt dein E-Auto physisch zu entladen, macht unser virtuelles Kraftwerk das nur „virtuell”. Der für deinen Ladevorgang reservierte Strom wird virtuell verkauft und dem Netz zurückgegeben.
Das hat mehrere Vorteile gegenüber bidirektionalem Laden bzw. V2G:
- Du benötigst keine spezielle Wallbox
- (Fast) alle E-Autos sind bereits heute kompatibel, entweder direkt oder über eine Wallbox.
- Da der Strom gar nicht erst ins Haus gelangt, zahlst du keine Netzentgelte auf den verkauften Strom. So erhältst du einen höheren Ertrag.
What does "netzdienlich" mean?
The generation of electricity and the consumption of electricity in the power grid must always be in balance in order to ensure a constant grid frequency (50 Hertz in Europe).
However, challenges such as the weather-dependent feed-in of renewable energies and the increasing consumption of electric cars, heat pumps, etc. are making this increasingly difficult.
NeoGrid® AI provides the grid with the necessary flexibility to compensate for fluctuations. This supports the grid and you earn money in the process.
Will charging with NeoGrid® AI damage my battery?
In short: No.
Studies have proven that charging your electric car battery with NeoGrid® AI does not cause any harm, as long as you follow the same precautions as with normal charging.
Depth of charge: Don't charge too much at once. Set your charging target sensibly in the Ostrom app.
Charging goal : Charge enough so that you don't go below 20% on your next trip, but never more than 80%.
Temperature: To protect your electric car from heat and cold, you should park it in a sheltered location, such as a garage, for charging.
Charging speed: Charge at home (e.g. 11 kW or 22 kW overnight) and only use fast charging stations when you really need them.

Can I use PV surplus charging AND NeoGrid® AI?
Unfortunately, surplus charging is not yet compatible with NeoGrid® AI.
However, you can use both functions separately. Charge during the day with free solar power and let NeoGrid® AI handle the charging process at night.
You can decide at any time whether you want to use NeoGrid® AI.

Die Installation war einfach und die Anleitung war klar und verständlich. Ich hatte die Wallbox innerhalb kürzester Zeit betriebsbereit. Die Ladeleistung von 22 kW ist super – mein Auto ist in deutlich kürzerer Zeit aufgeladen, als ich es von anderen Wallboxen gewohnt bin. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Möglichkeit, die Wallbox über eine App zu steuern. So kann ich den Ladevorgang bequem von meinem Smartphone aus überwachen und steuern. Das Design der Wallbox ist modern und passt gut an die Wand. Sie ist robust gebaut und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Kabelmanagement-Funktion ist auch ein Plus, da sie dafür sorgt, dass alles ordentlich aussieht und die Kabel nicht im Weg hängen.
